"Being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God". Colossians 1:10

Our mission is to touch lives with the Gospel and Love of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities, Tennessee is a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations, as such. We are opposed to non-biblical teachings that divide the Body of Christ. We do believe that the true basis of Christian fellowship is God's love, which is greater than our differences. Without His love we have no right to say we are Christians.

We believe that worship of God should be inspirational and intelligent. We give a great place to music which is contemporary and intimate in nature. We place great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God so that we may get to know Him. We go line by line and verse by verse through the whole counsel of God. We view the teaching and obedience of God's Word as our highest priority in life. We invite you to join us.

Giving

At Calvary we believe that giving is a matter of the heart and that each person should give according to what the Lord has purposed in their hearts. We do not pass an offering plate during services. Instead, we provide an offering box for tithes, offerings, prayer requests, and praise reports in our tithe box located at our information table.

"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7

From Pastor Paul

I would like to personally welcome you to our website. My family and I are excited to see what God is doing here in the Tri-Cities of Tennessee.

Back in 1993 our lives were drastically changed with the loss of my 10 year old son, Michael who died from a brain tumor. It was through this tragic loss that I began to search for real answers. As I searched, God began to reveal himself to both me and my wife, Dianne. What we finally realized was that God wanted an intimate and personal relationship with each one of us. We both gave our lives over to the Lord Jesus Christ. As our relationship with Him grew, we began to see that He did have a plan for our lives and our family. We soon found ourselves volunteering in church ministry and leadership.

Since August of 2010 I have been the Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel Greeneville and Dianne has been on staff as the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor. God has now called me to take a simple step of faith along with my wife, Dianne and sons, Robert, P.J. and daughter Kaitlyn by starting up a new church in Kingsport.

It is my prayer that this ministry will help you to find out God’s plan for your life and that you may draw nearer to His Son, Jesus Christ.

"Then he said, “The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will..." Acts 22:14
